Our Holiday Portrait Sessions combine beautiful lighting, thoughtful direction, and a relaxed atmosphere to create portraits that feel as wonderful as they look.
Come dressed for the occasion, bring your favorite people, and leave the rest to us. We’ll take care of the photography. You bring the smiles.

The Holiday Portrait Experience — $400
Includes:
- 45-minute studio portrait experience
- Up to six immediate family members
- Four Signature-retouched, high-resolution digital portraits
- Private online proofing gallery to review and select favorites
- Option to purchase additional portraits or the complete curated gallery
Additional Signature-retouched digital portraits: $95 each
The Complete Digital Gallery
$1000 total*
*Your $400 session payment is applied toward the total, leaving $600 remaining to upgrade. Includes your four Signature-retouched selections, plus Standard Professional Finishing for the remaining images in your curated gallery.
The $400 session fee is due in full at the time of booking. Because appointments are limited, cancellation and rescheduling policies apply. Please review the booking agreement for complete details.

Our Holiday Portrait Sessions are offered for a limited time, with a select number of appointments available.
II. The Location
Sessions take place in our private Livingston, New Jersey studio. Once you book your session, the address will be sent to you.
III. Enjoy The Moment
Whether your family is playful and full of energy or prefers something a little more classic, we’ll create portraits that reflect who you are. Expect a little posing, a little laughter, and plenty of opportunities for those genuine moments in between.
It’s elegant without being stuffy, polished without feeling overly posed, and designed to be an experience the whole family can enjoy.

What should we wear?
Dress to celebrate! Whether your style is classic and elegant or a little more festive, choose outfits that make you feel confident and comfortable. Coordinating colors and complementary styles photograph beautifully without everyone needing to match. We’ll share a few wardrobe suggestions before your session to help you prepare.
What can we expect during our session?
Expect a relaxed, fun, and beautifully guided portrait experience! Your 45-minute session gives us time to capture a variety of family groupings, individual personalities, and those genuine moments in between. Please arrive dressed and camera-ready so we can make the most of our time together. Quick touch-ups are welcome, and a simple outfit change may be possible if time allows.
Who can participate in the session?
Your session includes up to six immediate family members. If you’d like to include additional relatives or have a larger family group, please contact us before booking so we can discuss the best option.
How do we select and receive our photographs?
After your session, you’ll receive a private online proofing gallery to select your four included Signature-retouched portraits. Additional Signature-retouched digital portraits are $95 each.
You may also purchase the Complete Digital Gallery for $1,000 total. Your $400 session payment is applied toward that total, leaving $600 remaining. Your four selections receive Signature Retouching; the remaining curated gallery images receive Standard Professional Finishing.
Finished photographs are delivered as high-resolution digital files.
When will we receive our photographs?
Your finished digital photographs will be delivered within 14 calendar days after your final selections and any applicable payment are received. A Complete Digital Gallery upgrade purchased with your initial selections follows the same timeline.
Small orders of additional portraits purchased after your initial delivery are generally completed within 7 calendar days after selections and payment. Larger orders or extensive retouching may require a separate estimate.
Can we receive our photographs sooner?
Working toward a holiday card or gift deadline? Rush delivery may be available for an additional fee. Please share your deadline as early as possible, ideally before making your final selections. We’ll confirm availability, pricing, and a delivery date before you commit.
Printed products have separate production and shipping timelines.
What’s the difference between Signature Retouching and Standard Finishing?
Every image you receive is professionally finished with careful attention to color, lighting, and overall presentation.
Your four selected portraits receive Signature Retouching, which adds detailed care such as natural skin refinement, stray hair cleanup, and subtle enhancements—while keeping you looking like you.
If you purchase the Complete Digital Gallery, your four selections receive Signature Retouching. The remaining curated images receive Standard Professional Finishing, without that additional detailed retouching.
Can we order custom holiday cards?
Yes! Choose from a small selection of exclusive JC3 holiday designs, personalized with your family portrait. We’ll handle the design and professional printing for you.
Cards are an optional purchase, separate from your session and digital images. Please ask about available designs, pricing, and production timelines.
Where is the studio, and is it accessible?
Our private home studio is located in Livingston, New Jersey, on the lower level of our home. There is a short flight of stairs at the entrance and a longer flight leading down to the studio. Both stairways are used when entering and leaving. If anyone in your family may have difficulty navigating stairs, please reach out before booking so we can discuss your needs and determine whether the space will be a comfortable fit. The exact studio address and arrival details will be shared privately after booking.
What if we need to cancel or reschedule?
We understand that plans can change! Because our holiday portrait appointments are limited, cancellations and rescheduling are subject to our booking policy.
Cancellation requests must be made directly to John. Online rescheduling is available until 24 hours before your session, subject to availability. Please review the booking agreement for refund and credit terms.
